• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery

• Ensure lockout/tagout procedures are followed

• Complete preventative maintenance orders on machinery

• Assist/complete special projects as assigned by supervisors with limited supervision

• Assist in spare parts issue and inventory control

• Maintain all maintenance areas per 5S and safety

Skills

1. PLC, and automation experience required
2. Four years maintenance experience preferred
3. Knowledge of CNC controls
4. Knowledge of basic electrical systems and controls
5. Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems-knowledge and understanding of electronics, pneumatic/hydraulic and mechanical diagrams
6. Automation and robotics experience
7. understand technical operating, service or repair manuals
8. use knowledge of metric system
9. work as a team member
10. inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies
11. test mechanical products or equipment
12. adhere to safety procedures
13. clean rooms or work areas
14. observe or listen to machinery or equipment operation to detect malfunctions
15. repair or replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components
16. understand service or repair manuals
17. operate vacuum or air hose
18. inspect machinery or equipment to determine adjustments or repairs needed
19. maintain or repair industrial or related equipment/machinery
20. maintain repair records
21. use measuring devices in repairing industrial or heavy equipment
22. use precision measuring devices in mechanical repair work
23. clean equipment or machinery
24. install equipment or attachments on machinery or related structures
25. use control or regulating devices to adjust or maintain industrial machinery
26. fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand
27. use pneumatic tools
28. use pressure gauges
29. adjust or set mechanical controls or components
30. apply cleaning solvents
31. assist mechanic, or extractive or construction trades craft worker
32. load or unload material or workpiece into machinery
33. lubricate machinery, equipment, or parts
34. move materials or goods between work areas
35. perform safety inspections in industrial, manufacturing or repair setting
36. read specifications
37. read work order, instructions, formulas, or processing charts
