Job Description
- Statistical analysis of data OEE, FTQ, Gage studies, Box charts, X bar, and R, Capability studies etc. to identify variation and identify where to eliminate waste
- Reviewing and understanding data, summarizing data to facilitate understanding of variation and cause of variation
- Maintain database for in process and audit inspections
- Responsible for following up on corrective action plans and areas of nonconformance as related to statistical analysis of data
- Ensure immediate containment of quality issues that are found
- Leadership for third shift hourly and third shift assembly/machining support
- Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
The skills and knowledge required by this position are as follows:

4. create mathematical or statistical diagrams or charts
5. perform statistical modeling
6. use mathematical or statistical methods to identify or analyze problems
7. communicate technical information

9. confer with engineering, technical or manufacturing personnel
10. maintain records, reports, or files
11. make decisions
12. prepare reports for management
13. use computers to enter, access or retrieve data
14. use interpersonal communication techniques
15. use knowledge of metric system
16. work as a team member
17. assure quality control in printing processes
18. compare findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards
19. determine specifications or testing procedures
20. perform tests to assess compliance with standards
21. record test results, test procedures, or inspection data
22. supervise quality control workers
23. use quality assurance techniques
24. verify completeness or accuracy of data
Other Skills Required
- Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control.
- Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation
- Knowledge/Understanding of Quality Systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal). Must be able to clearly communicate the meaning of statistical results to non-statisticians
- Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases
- Knowledge/Understanding of manufacturing principals
- At least 7 years of experience in statistical study/application
- BS in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or other applicable experience and/or education
