The Indiana Masonic Home, Inc. a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Franklin, Indiana, just 25 miles south of Indianapolis, has an immediate opening for a RN Nurse Supervisorfor our evening shift (2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.).
We are searching for an individual who has compassion in providing excellent care our residents deserve.

General Job Functions:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of resident care within the Indiana Masonic Home, Inc. requirements and policies. Provide administrative support in the development and evaluation of all nursing personnel. Maintain operational aspects of the community.

Primary Job Functions:Attend all required in-services.
Properly orientate newly assigned nursing staff.
Assist the Staffing Coordinator and nursing management with staffing needs to meet state standards and the Indiana Masonic Home, Inc. requirements.
Administers nursing care to residents as needed to maintain clinical skills, assess particular resident care requirements and perform duties of a charge nurse as needed.
May assume the role of resident advocate to uphold Resident Rights.
Serve as a clinical resource in assisting nursing personnel in assessing residents needs.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for nursing staff.
Counsel nursing staff as issues and/or situation arise in order to maintain continuity with the care of residents.


Requirements:Hold a valid Indiana RN license.
Knowledge of state and federal health regulations and clinical standards of practice.
Knowledge of nursing standards and delivery systems.
Minimum 2 years management experience and staff development in long term care environment required.
Thorough understanding of MDS and care plan process(s).

                                                                ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

The Indiana Masonic Home is a continuing care retirement community that offers current and future residents several lifestyles. Indiana Masonic Home is located in Franklin, Indiana. 
We are currently accepting applications/resumes for a Accounting Specialist.


JOB SUMMARY
 
This position assists the accounting department with invoicing, check runs, check cutting, and matching and batching of payables data. This accounts payable position will also be responsible with helping with some administrative duties around the office such as filing, data entry, and assisting with answering of the phones as needed.
                                                                             
 
PRIMARY DUTIES
 
·         Income: Social Security, pensions, home members, interest income, utilities, reimbursement, paying guests, medical reimbursements, life insurance proceeds, contributions from members families, farm receipts, meals, Spring Festival, (annual Pilgrimage) property payments.
·         Bank Deposits:  Gift fund, coke monies, ceramics, donations, miscellaneous.
·         Processing invoices for payments on 10th and 25th of month. 
·         Keep records on all estates for Grand Trustees.
·         Transmittal income to Grand Secretary, twice per month.
·         Analysis for Gifts Fund, (MB & MC), expense and income, reconcile with checking account.
·         Filing income taxes for member’s pension.
·        Keep financial account of new member’s income, close bank accounts, cash CD's, and stock certificates.
·         Prepare information for auditors as per instructions of Director of Accounting.
·         Sort Social Security and Pensions for mailroom monthly.
·         Complete verifications reports for members-VA.
 
  
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILILITIES
 
·         Proficient in Microsoft and various accounting software including Oracle/Vision. 
·         Be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
·         Ability to manage difficult client/customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, and responds to requests for service as needed.
·          Plan work activities to utilize time efficiently.
·         Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality.
·         Must be able to meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner.  Proficient typing, bookkeeping, and computer skills.

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
·         High School diploma or equivalent.
·         An associate degree in accounting is preferred.
·         At least two years experience in accounts payables, experience with posting account receivables, and bookkeeping.
