This position manages and controls the complete cycle of materials planning and controlling of Sales, Production, and Inventory (SPI) plan, as well as developing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to scheduling of the shop floor and suppliers; and the personnel required to accomplish this task. Develops and adjusts production and supplier schedules as necessary to meet customer order shipments. Controls, measures, and regulates long-range forecast planning and efficient inventory levels of materials for supply base.
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

• Responsible for the management of inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected items either manufactured or purchased to meet production schedules.
• Responsible for acting on order release action and exception messages from the system.
• Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity.
• Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Complete shipping information and delivery date input during Sales Order Reviews.
• Answer termination or cancellation requests from Sales.
• Release Purchase orders for production material.
• Responsible for tracking and smooth implementation of all Engineering changes.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel, the Advanced Purchasing Department and Supervisors on material status and production planning issues.

Qualifications
Associates Degree
3 years experience
