 Job Description:
  • Supplier Development
  • Basic Quality Engineering: Root Cause Analysis, Continual Improvement, Process Variation Reduction
  • Responsible for following up on corrective action plans and areas of nonconformance
  • Ensure immediate containment of quality issues that are found
  • Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
 The skills and knowledge required by this position are as follows
1. compare findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards
2.  determine specifications or testing procedures
3.  examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
4.  grade, classify, or sort products according to specifications
5.  inspect or test materials to verify safety standards or ensure meeting of specifications
6.  inspect products or systems for regulatory compliance
7.  maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance
8.  mark items for acceptance or rejection, according to conformance to specifications
9.  monitor operations to verify conformance to standards
10.  perform tests to assess compliance with standards
11.  record test results, test procedures, or inspection data
12.  use quality assurance techniques
13.  verify completeness or accuracy of data

Other Specific Skills Required:
  • Mechanical or Industrial degree with no manufacturing experience in Assembly or a High School/GED with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience in Assembly
  • Knowledge/understanding of Quality systems
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong computer skills including Quality applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases
  • Knowledge/understanding of Plastic Injection, Assembly and HVAC systems
  • Quality orientation and high attention to detail
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
  • Travel 90% of time during product launch/development, travel up to 70% of the time after product launch and supplier implementation of manufacturing processess
