Job Description

• Responsible to perform assigned inspection on products to maintain quality standards
• Responsible to inspect visually for obvious defects
• Responsible to inspect dimensionally, as required and document results
• Responsible to notify supervisor when data exceed acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are noted
• Responsible to record results on inspection forms or charts and report number of defects found.
• Posts and maintain forms and charts of inspection data, quality levels, or special quality studies
• Responsible to maintain all records for department
• Responsible to help 100% inspect non-conforming product
• Responsible to identify and document non-conforming product
• Responsible to perform other related duties as required
• Responsible for a safe working environment
• Responsible for performing department procedures and processes to maintain the Quality Systems of ISO, AS, or TS as applicable

GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
MANUAL CMM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (coordinate-measuring machine)

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Dexterity and preciseness required to operate gauges and testing equipment
• Considerable mental and visual effort required
• Communication skills
• Must have previous Quality experience
• HS diploma
