                                                    Marketing/Sales Associate

The Marketing/Sales Associate is responsible for presenting and selling the community to prospective residents.  The Marketing /Sales Associate is responsible to meet residency goals as assigned. The Marketing/Sales Associate assists in managing the occupancy process in relation to the representation, contract negotiation and promotion of the community to that individual
Essential Functions:

a. Manages the occupancy process from first inquiry to receipt of deposit to move-in in relation to the representation, contract negotiation and promotion of the community to that individual.
b. Works with the prospective resident, family members and key influencers (physician, attorney, trust officer, as appropriate) to cause a timely and beneficial commitment to the community.
c. Responsible for the professional handling of all incoming inquiries.
d. Manages information relating to the prospective resident/inquiry:  communication with administration, communication with direct supervision and accurate documentation of all contact in the Leads Management System.
e. Directs the occupancy process through ongoing contact with a prospective resident via telephone, personal visits, tours and home visit activities as appropriate to generate new sales.
f. Provides to the Marketing Director and Executive Director marketing planning information about opportunities or challenges, to be used in the development of strategies for maintaining optimal occupancy levels.
g. Fully understands and articulately represents all documents related to residency, including RA and DS
h. Staffs the office during established hours of operation, which may include evenings and weekends.
i. Responsible for assisting in the planning & coordination of marketing and community events.
j. Prepares and updates marketing and sales reports as requested.
k. Conducts “closings” of residency sales and insures all necessary documents are signed and funds collected.           
l. Prepares and makes presentations to Masonic/Eastern Star organizations off campus as opportunities arise
m. Must accurately investigate application documents and determine if the applicant should be presented for approval.
n. Achieve residency goals as assigned.
o. Assists in the development of the annual Marketing Plan making recommendations as to strategy and tactics to be implemented.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

a. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with both large and small groups.
b. Bachelors preferred or three to five years of experience in marketing, public relations, promotions or    sales is desirable.
c. Must be tenacious and have perseverance in selling and marketing the facility
d. Must have knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of the aging.
e. Must have the ability to work independently with self-discipline and self-motivation.
f. Skills in the use of Adobe design products such as InDesign, Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and contact management software.
