Our Part-Time Payroll Administrator plays a vital role in our business and the lives of our associates. In this role, you will be responsible for handling payroll data entry and processing weekly to ensure that Express associates are paid timely and that clients are billed accurately. The Payroll Administrator needs to ensure that all administrative activities involved in weekly payroll processing are error-free. In addition, the Payroll Administrator will assist the Front Office Coordinator with incoming calls, applicant flow and organizing all office activities to ensure all tasks are met to the satisfaction of the internal team, clients, associates, and applicants.

Essential Functions:
~ Perform daily payroll department operations and manage workflow to ensure transactions are processed timely
~ Compile, prepare, and enter payroll data, or compute and post wages (reconcile errors) to maintain payroll records weekly
~ Contact clients and client representatives to locate missing time cards
~ Enter and process Direct Deposit and Money Network Card payments
~ Assist with office administration
~ Deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with employees who have payroll questions or problems
~ Back up the Front Office Coordinator and assist with front office duties
~ Assist with incoming phone calls
~ Process employment verification requests
~ Perform and complete reference checks and verifications on current Express associates
Job Requirements:
~ 2 year degree or equivalent professional experience
~ Strong computer skills that include: MS Word, Excel & Outlook
~ Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
~ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
~ Professional appearance and approach with associates and clients
~ Prior payroll processing experience helpful, but not required
~ Ability to multi-task & change gears often
~ Goal oriented with sense of urgency mindset
